On the wedding day, he was professional, energetic, fun, and somehow always two steps ahead of me. Every time I went to ask him to prepare a drink for the couple, he was already on it!
What impressed me most was watching him manage both cocktail hour and the reception bar by himself while keeping everything moving smoothly. Guests were happy, drinks were flowing, and he never seemed frazzled or overwhelmed. He kept a smile on his face and made sure the guests were smiling right along with him all night.
